The Professional Regulation Commission and the Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology issued Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology Resolution No. 02 Series of 2020 for the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 11131, otherwise known as “An Act Regulating the Practice of Criminology Profession in the Philippines, and Appropriating Funds Therefor, Repealing for the Purpose Republic Act No. 6506, an Act Creating the Board of Examiners for Criminologists in the Philippines.” This IRR became effective on December 4, 2020 and have introduced new set of documentary requirements to be submitted by applicants for the Criminologists Licensure Examination:

Birth Certificate
2.
PSA
Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
3.
Transcript
of Records with scanned picture and Special Order No. (unless not required) and
Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes” (First Timers and Repeaters)
4.
College
Diploma with indication therein of date graduation and SO Number (unless not
required)
5.
CHED
Certificate of Authentication and Verification (CAV)
6.
Valid
NBI Clearance (First Timers and Repeaters and should not expire on the last day
of the examination)
7.
Regional
Trial Court (RTC) Clearance (First Timers and Repeaters)
8.
Three
(3) Certificates of Good Moral Character from any of the following: (First Timers and Repeaters)
a. Barangay
b. School Dean of
Criminology Program
c. Parish Priest
d. Employer
9.
Other
documents that the Board may reasonably require
10. Payment: P900.00
Application for the June 13, 14 and 15,
2021 Criminologists Licensure Examination is ongoing until April 13, 2021. Applicants
must have their online appointment at online.prc.gov.ph or online1.prc.gov.ph.
