The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Professional Regulatory Board of Medicine have released the results of the March and September 2020 Physician Licensure Examination (PLE) in eight (8) working days from the last day of the examination.
Nationwide, 800 out of 1,424 examinees (56.18%) passed the examination. The results of examination with respect to fourteen (14) examinees were withheld pending completion of the remaining subjects in the PLE. Pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223 dated July 19, 2004, results of examinations are final and request for reconsideration of failing grades is not allowed.
In Baguio City, 26 out of 63 examinees (41.30%) successfully passed the examination.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card, Certificates of Registration, Passing and Rating will be done online. Log on to online.prc.gov.ph or online1.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, Notice of Admission or valid ID (for identification only), two (2) pieces passport-sized pictures (colored with white background and complete with name tag), and two (2) sets of documentary stamps.

Further, application for the November 2020 PLE is ongoing until October 09, 2020.
Requirements for new/first-time applicants are:
1. Original and photocopy of Transcript of Records with scanned picture and remarks, “For Board Examination Purposes”;
2. Original and photocopy of PSA/NSO Birth Certificate in security paper. Submit a copy of Birth Certificate from Local Civil Registrar if PSA/NSO copy is not legible;
3. Original and photocopy of PSA/NSO Marriage Certificate in security paper. Submit a copy from Local Civil Registrar if PSA/NSO copy is not legible (for married female applicants only);
4. Certificate of Post Graduate Internship
5. One (1) piece RECENT passport-sized colored picture in plain white background with complete name tag (Last Name, First Name, Middle Name);
6. Any valid government-issued ID as competent proof of identity or Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); and
7. Documentary stamps with total face value of Php30.00.
Pursuant to PRC Resolution 2020-1267 dated August 28, 2020, repeater applicants are no longer required to personally file their applications and submit copies of their requirements in any PRC Regional Office. Upon online submission of application and payment of examination fee through the duly accredited payment channel, the repeater-examinee shall print the system-generated Notice of Admission which shall be presented to the examination personnel on the days of the licensure examination.
