The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 4,458 out of 6,770 examinees or 65.85% passed the Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE) and 65 out of 108 examinees or 60.19% passed the Certified Plant Mechanics Licensure Examination (CPMLE) given by the Professional Regulatory Board of Mechanical Engineering in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban and Zamboanga this February 2024. The results of examination with respect to seventeen (17) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations. The results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of the examination. Pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223 dated July 19, 2004, results of the examination are final and request for reconsideration of failing grades is not allowed.


In Baguio City, 192 out of 394 examinees or 48.73% successfully passed the MELE and 2 out of 3 examinees or 66.67% successfully passed the CPMLE. Included in the Top 10 are:
