The Professional Regulation Commission
(PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers have released the results of the March
24, 2019 Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) given in
20 testing centers nationwide.
Nationwide, 19,659 elementary teachers out of 72,054 examinees (27.28%) and 22,271
secondary teachers out of 85,823
examinees (29.95%) successfully passed the BLEPT. It is further announced that of the 19,659 elementary teacher
passers, 5,078 are first timers and 14,581 are repeaters.
For the secondary teachers, 15,621 passers
are first timers and 6,650 are repeaters. The results of examination
with respect to ten
(10) examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities
under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination. Pursuant to
PRC Resolution No. 2004-223 dated July 19, 2004, results of examinations are
final and request for reconsideration of failing grades is not allowed.
In Baguio, 1,267 elementary teachers
out of 3,392 (37.35%)
examinees and 1,754 secondary
teachers out of 4,940
(35.51%) successfully passed the examination.
In Rosales, Pangasinan, 686 elementary
teachers out of 2,316 (29.62%)
examinees and 658 secondary teachers out of 2,708 (24.30%) successfully passed
the examination.

2010-547 series of 2010 with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing

Registration for the
issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID), Certificates of Registration,
Passing and Rating will be done online. Log on to online.prc.gov.ph or online1.prc.gov.ph
and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register
are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or
Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission or valid ID (for identification only), two
(2) pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete
with name tag), and two (2) sets of documentary stamps.
Successful examinees should personally
register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
Professional ID Cards will
be issued during the Oathtaking Ceremonies on June 29, 2019 (Saturday), at the
University of Baguio Cardinals Gymnasium, Assumption Road, Baguio City and on June
30, 2019 in Rosales, Pangasinan at the Robert B. Estrella, Sr. Memorial
Stadium.
