The Professional
Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers have
released the results of the September 24, 2017 Board Licensure Examination for Professional
Teachers (BLEPT) given in Hong Kong, Thailand and in 25 testing centers
nationwide.
Nationwide, 21,198
elementary teachers out of 80,509 examinees (26.33%) and 49,626 secondary teachers
out of 107,020 examinees (46.37%) successfully passed the BLEPT. The results of
examination with respect to two (2) examinees were withheld pending final
determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing
licensure examination. Pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223 dated July 19,
2004, results of examinations are final and request for reconsideration of
failing grades is not allowed.
In Baguio, 2,922 elementary
teachers out of 8,007 (36.49%) examinees and 6,390 secondary teachers out of 11,799
(54.16%) successfully passed the examination conducted in the cities of Baguio
and Laoag and in Rosales, Pangasinan.

Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010 with 50 or more examinees and with at
least 80% passing percentage, the top performing schools are:

Registration, pay the Initial Registration Fee at
any authorized payment centers (7-Eleven, Western Union, Bayad Center, ECPay,
etc.) and bring the following:

Generated print-out of the Oath Form;
o
Recent Community Tax Certificate (cedula);
o
Two (2) pieces passport size with complete
name tag (Last Name, First Name, Middle Name);
o
Two (2) pieces documentary stamps; and
o
Certification Fee of P75.00 per copy (Optional).
Professional
ID Cards (PICs) and Certifications will be issued during the Oathtaking
Ceremonies on December 17, 2017 (Sunday), 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM for Elementary Level and 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM for Secondary Level at the University of Baguio
Cardinals Gym, Assumption Road, Baguio City.
