The Professional Regulation
Commission (PRC) announces that 10,977 out of 35,475 or 31% passed the December
2013 Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) given by the Board of Nursing in various
testing centers nationwide. Pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223 dated July
19, 2004, results of examinations are final and request for reconsideration of
failing grades is not allowed.
The Baguio Regional Office
coordinated and supervised the NLE in the cities of Baguio, Dagupan, Cabanatuan,
and Laoag. In Baguio, 604 of 2,874 examinees (21%) successfully hurdled the
test. In Dagupan, 260 of 1,197 (22%) passed while in Cabanatuan, 180 of 943 (19%)
examinees passed. In Laoag, 334 of 804 (42%) examinees passed.
The Mariano Marcos State University-Batac
is included in the top nine (9) performing schools as per Commission Resolution
No. 2010-547 series of 2010 with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80%
passing percentage:

Registration starts on January 20, 2014 (Monday). To decongest the Regional Office and to enable passers to save on travel time and expenses, the Regional Office will process initial registration outside of Baguio City. Mobile outreach dates and venues are posted at www.prcbaguio.blogspot.com. The Office will process initial registration on first come, first serve basis; no alphabetical queuing. Those who will register are required to bring the following:
- Duly accomplished
Oath Form (downloadable at www.prc.gov.ph
Online Registration System);
- 2014 Community Tax
Certificate (cedula);
- One (1) Documentary
stamp; and
- Payment of Initial Registration fee of P1,050.00
Professional ID Cards
(PICs) will be issued after the Oath-taking ceremony tentatively scheduled on
February 25, 2014 at the Prince Bernhard Hall, Saint Louis University, Baguio
City, 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN.
