The Professional Regulation Commission
(PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers have released the results of the September
29, 2019 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) given in 29 testing
centers all over the Philippines, Hong Kong and Thailand.
Nationwide, 28,973 elementary teachers out of 92,440 examinees (31.34%)
and 54,179 secondary teachers out of
136,523 examinees (25.95%) successfully passed the LEPT.
The results of examination with respect to seven (7) examinees were
withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and
regulations governing licensure examination. Pursuant to PRC Resolution No.
2004-223 dated July 19, 2004, results of examinations are final and request for
reconsideration of failing grades is not allowed.
In Baguio City, 2,299 elementary teachers out of 5,181 (44.37%) examinees and 4,713 secondary teachers out of 9,605 (49.07%) successfully passed the
examination.
As per Commission Resolution No.
2010-547 series of 2010 with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80% passing
percentage, the top performing school is:

Successful examinees should personally
register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. Registration for the
issuance of Professional Identification Card, Certificates of Registration,
Passing and Rating will be done online. Log on to online.prc.gov.ph or
online1.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.
Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded
duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission or valid
ID (for
identification only), two (2) pieces passport-sized pictures (colored with
white background and complete with name tag), and two (2) sets of documentary
stamps.
Oathtaking Ceremonies are scheduled
on January 12,
2020 (Sunday),
9:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 4:00 PM at the University of Baguio Cardinals Gymnasium,
Assumption Road, Baguio City. Professional Identification Cards will be released
at the PRC-CAR Office after the ceremony.
