The Professional
Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers have
released the results of the September 25, 2016 Board Licensure Examination for Professional
Teachers (BLEPT) given in Hong Kong and in 25 testing centers nationwide.
Nationwide, 23,378
elementary teachers out of 77,466 examinees (30.18%) and 31,334 secondary
teachers out of 92,754 examinees (33.78%) successfully passed the BLEPT. The
results of examination with respect to four (4) examinees were withheld pending
final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations
governing licensure examination. Pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223 dated
July 19, 2004, results of examinations are final and request for
reconsideration of failing grades is not allowed.
In Baguio, 3,005 elementary
teachers out of 7,015 (42.84%) examinees and 3,949 secondary teachers out of 9,418
(41.93%) successfully passed the examination conducted in the cities of Baguio,
Laoag and in Rosales, Pangasinan.

Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010 with 50 or more examinees and with at
least 80% passing percentage, the top performing schools are:
