The Professional Regulation Commission
(PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers have released the results of the September
29, 2013 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
Nationwide,
19,384 elementary teachers out of 62,160 examinees (31.18%) and 25,755
secondary teachers out of 64,792
examinees (39.75%) passed the LET. Pursuant
to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223 dated July 19, 2004, results of examinations are
final and request for reconsideration of failing grades is not allowed.
The Baguio Regional Office
supervised the LET in Baguio City, Laoag City and Rosales, Pangasinan. In
Baguio, 3,112 out of 7,189 (43.29%) examinees successfully hurdled the test. In Laoag City, 651 of 1,258 (51.75%) passed
while in Rosales, Pangasinan, 1,312
of 3,892 (33.71%) examinees passed.
