The Professional Regulation Commission is now accepting applications for the April 29 and 30, 2024 Midwives Licensure Examination from January 29 to March 27, 2024.
𝗥𝗘𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦:
Degree/Course Requirement: Graduate Midwife from government recognized school of Midwifery
1. Online system generated Application Form from online.prc.gov.ph with indicated appointment date, reference number of P600.00 examination fee, and affixed documentary stamp;
2. Original and photocopy of Philippine Statistic Authority (PSA) Birth Certificate (if Birth Certificate issued by PSA is not readable, attach Birth Certificate issued by the Local Civil Registry;
3. Original and photocopy of PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants only);
4. Original and photocopy of Transcript of Records with scanned picture and Remarks "For Board Examination Purposes"; and
5. One (1) passport size colored picture with complete name tag in plain white background.
𝗔. 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗨𝗔𝗧𝗘 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗪𝗜𝗙𝗘
*Requirements on the Cases Performed/Handled. The prescribed number of cases shall be:
a) Normal Spontaneous Delivery - at least twenty (20)
b) Internal Examinations - at least twenty (20)
c) Insertion of Intravenous Fluid - at least five (5)
d) Suturing of 1st and 2nd degree Perineal Lacerations - at least five (5)
- Signatory of cases should have undergone the training on Expanded Functions under RA 7392 (see IRR Resolution No. 100)
- Cases must be signed by Principal or Dean and is duly notarized with documentary stamp.
e) PRC ID License of the Supervising Registered Midwife
𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗥: CASE REQUIREMENTS DONE MORE THAN FIVE (5) YEARS AGO SHALL BE REPEATED (NEW CASES SHALL BE SUBMITTED.
𝗕. 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗗 𝗡𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘
a) Record of twenty (20) deliveries actually handled with records of five (5) sutures and five (5) intravenous injections signed by Hospital Director or Municipal Health Officer and duly notarized;
b) Certificate of Consent (from the hospital where cases were performed);
c) Certificate of Trainings on Expanded Function on RA 7392 accredited by PRC CPD Council for Midwifery of Registered Midwife who supervised; and
d) PRC ID License and Employee's ID of the Supervising Registered Midwife

The examinees are warned against dealing with individuals or entities claiming to be connected with the PRC, or using the name of its officials, personnel, and/or members of the Professional Regulatory Boards, either by presenting fake calling cards and other identification cards, including the use of its official logos, for personal or financial gain, to facilitate and/or process the application and/or release of various PRC documents, or in promising examinees to pass the licensure examination. Test results are final and there is NO RE-CHECKING OR VIEWING OF TEST PAPERS pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223.
The PRC follows its procedures and processes as enshrined in the PRC Citizen’s Charter. The PRC disclaims all representations which are purportedly extended by these unscrupulous individuals. The public is hereby directed to report these individuals, entities or groups representing, soliciting, asking money or any consideration, related to PRC transactions, or for facilitating PRC services and any other similar activities to the PRC ARTA Committee at arta@prc.gov.ph or car@prc.gov.ph. The PRC will continuously take measures to protect the public from false information and fake documents provided by any unauthorized individuals, groups or entities.
