𝑨𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂𝒏 𝒖𝒑𝒅𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝑷𝑰𝑪?

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) encourages professionals to renew their PIC early to avoid inconveniences, loss of work opportunities, and applicable penalties to be incurred for late renewal. 𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗜𝗖 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝟭𝟭 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱. All professionals are likewise informed that in the absence of the required Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units, they can still renew their PIC provided that they sign the UNDERTAKING portion of the renewal form pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2022-1577 dated September 22, 2022 extending the acceptance of CPD Undertaking for the renewal of PIC 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝟯𝟭 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯.

Moreover, the PRC will no longer accept applications for CPD accreditation of activities under PRC Resolution No. 1239 series of 2020 or “Granting Continuing Professional Development Credit Units to All Professionals Providing Essential Services During the State of Public Health Emergency Due to the Corona Virus Disease 2019” beginning January 1, 2024 pursuant to Resolution No. 1717 dated October 9, 2023. May we encourage the professionals providing essential services during the State of Public Emergency to take this opportunity to file their application 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯. The granting of CPD credit units is availed one-time only.
