𝝖𝗣𝗣𝗟𝝞𝗖𝝖𝗧𝝞𝝤𝝢 𝗙𝝤𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗘𝗕𝗥𝗨𝝖𝗥𝗬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 𝗖𝗥𝝞𝗠𝝞𝝢𝝤𝗟𝝤𝗚𝝞𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗟𝝞𝗖𝗘𝝢𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗘𝗫𝝖𝗠𝝞𝝢𝝖𝗧𝝞𝝤𝝢
The Professional Regulation Commission is now accepting applications for the February 2024 Criminologists Licensure Examination. The application period is from October 26 to December 26, 2023.
The following are the Documentary Requirements when filing an application:
FIRST TIMERS:
1. Birth Certificate from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA). If the Birth Certificate issued by PSA is not readable, present birth certificate issued by the Local Civil Registry (LCR);
2. PSA Marriage Certificate (for married female applicants only);
3. Transcript of Records (TOR) with scanned picture and Special Order Number (unless not required) and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”;
4. College Diploma with indication therein of date of graduation and Special Order Number (unless not required). In case of degree of equivalency, present the College Diploma and the Certificate of Equivalency issued by the CHED;
5. CHED Certification, Authentication and Verification (CAV);
6. National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Clearance;
7. Regional Trial Court Clearance;
8. Two (2) updated Certificate of Good Moral Character from the following (date of issuance should be six (6) months before the first day of the examination):
a. Barangay (Where the applicant actually resides); and
b. School Dean of the Criminology Program with the corresponding dry seal of the college.
REPEATERS:
1. TOR with scanned picture and Special Order Number (unless not required) and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”;
2. NBI Clearance;
3. Regional Trial Court Clearance;
4. Two (2) updated Certificate of Good Moral Character from the following (date of issuance should be six (6) months before the first day of the examination):
a. Barangay (Where the applicant actually resides); and
b. School Dean of the Criminology Program with the corresponding dry seal of the college; and
5. Certificate of Refresher Course for applicants who failed five (5) times.

The examinees are warned against dealing with individuals or entities claiming to be connected with the PRC, or using the name of its officials, personnel, and/or members of the Professional Regulatory Boards, either by presenting fake calling cards and other identification cards, including the use of its official logos, for personal or financial gain, to facilitate and/or process the application and/or release of various PRC documents, or in promising examinees to pass the licensure examination. Test results are final and there is NO RE-CHECKING OR VIEWING OF TEST PAPERS pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223.
The PRC follows its procedures and processes as enshrined in the PRC Citizen’s Charter. The PRC disclaims all representations which are purportedly extended by these unscrupulous individuals. The public is hereby directed to report these individuals, entities or groups representing, soliciting, asking money or any consideration, related to PRC transactions, or for facilitating PRC services and any other similar activities to the PRC ARTA Committee at arta@prc.gov.ph or car@prc.gov.ph. The PRC will continuously take measures to protect the public from false information and fake documents provided by any unauthorized individuals, groups or entities.
