CONDUCT OF THE APRIL 2023 REGISTERED ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS AND REGISTERED MASTER ELECTRICIANS LICENSURE EXAMINATIONS


The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces the conduct of the April 25 and 26, 2023 Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination (REELE) to 889 examinees and the April 27, 2023 Registered Master Electrician Licensure Examination (RMELE) to 160 examinees in Baguio City. The testing venues are:

REELE
University of the Cordilleras (Main Campus), Gov. Pack Road
St. Vincent Gymnasium, Naguilian Road

RMELE
Saint Louis School, Inc. (Elementary Department), Assumption Road

Examinees coming OUTSIDE of Baguio, La Trinidad, Itogon, Sablan, Tuba and Tublay shall strictly adhere to the latest entry protocols of Baguio City as posted at www.facebook.com/pio.baguio.

At the PRC EXAMINATION VENUE, all examinees shall bring the following:

1. Notice of Admission;
2. ANY of the following (ALINMAN SA MGA SUMUSUNOD):
a. Photocopy of the complete Vaccination Card/Certificate if fully vaccinated (An individual is considered FULLY VACCINATED FOR COVID-19 after a period of at least two (2) weeks from having received the second dose of a 2-dose series; or after a period of two (2) weeks from having received a single-dose vaccine). Last dose should have been administered on or before April 10, 2023 for REELE and April 12, 2023 for RMELE; BOOSTER shot is not required but highly encouraged;
b. Hard copy of the negative RT-PCR test result (NOT Antigen test) if not fully vaccinated, date of collection shall be within 72 hours;

Note, however, that for examinees who recently contracted COVID-19, a Certificate of Completion of Isolation or its equivalent signed by ANY of the following must be submitted:
(a) Government or private licensed physician
(b) Municipal Health Officer, Provincial Health Officer, or City Health Officer
(c) Designated Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERT) Officer or Barangay Health Worker visiting the residence of the examinee
3. One (1) piece metered-stamped window mailing envelope
4. One (1) piece long transparent plastic envelope
5. One (1) piece long brown envelope
6. Two or more pencils (No. 2)
7. Pens with BLACK ink only
8. Allowed non-programmable calculator
9. Packed snacks and meals with sufficient drinking water supply as no one will be allowed to go out once inside the examination venue
10. Medicine, hygiene and sanitary kits, and related supplies, when necessary

The PRC-CAR will not photocopy or print your compliance documents so please prepare the documents stated in item numbers 1 and 2.
Refer to the program of examination for other things to bring, required attire, allowed and prohibited items.

Deferral to take the examination and transfer to another testing center SHALL NO LONGER BE ALLOWED.

In the event of failure to take the April 2023 REELE and RMELE, examinees may submit a written request with the required supporting documents on or before May 3, 2023 for REELE and May 4, 2023 for RMELE, and shall be allowed to take the immediately succeeding REELE or RMELE subject to the following valid reasons:

a. For health reasons – shall be supported with a medical certificate;
b. For travel restrictions – shall be supported with an official letter/order of restriction issued by the concerned local government unit.

The written request and supporting documents shall be submitted through email at car.application@prc.gov.ph or car@prc.gov.ph. Said examinees are advised to keep their Notice of Admission for use during the next examination.

Examinees and examination personnel are reminded to strictly observe the minimum health standards set in the PRC-DOH-DILG-PNP Joint Administrative Order No. 2022-01 dated September 16, 2022 for everyone’s safety, and to immediately go home after the conduct of the examination. With Baguio’s weather condition, examinees and examination personnel are advised to use additional layer of clothing, bring rain gears, and flashlights in case of power outage at the testing venue.

The following are NOT also allowed or NO longer required:
1. Bringing of vehicles or motorcycles as no parking space is available
2. Submission of Annexes A, B and C of the JAO No. 2021-01
3. Submission of mailing envelopes
4. Printed copy of your Official Receipt

The PRC further warns the examinees against dealing with individuals or entities claiming to be connected with the PRC, or using the name of its officials, personnel, and/or members of the Professional Regulatory Boards, either by presenting fake calling cards and other identification cards, including the use of its official logos, for personal or financial gain, to facilitate and/or process the application and/or release of various PRC documents, or in promising examinees to pass the licensure examination. The PRC disclaims all representations which are purportedly extended by these unscrupulous individuals. Please report immediately to car@prc.gov.ph any knowledge of such illegal acts. Checking of test papers is computerized and with no human intervention. Test results are final and there is NO RE-CHECKING OR VIEWING OF TEST PAPERS pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223. DO NOT BE A VICTIM OF FIXERS.
