 RENEW YOUR PRC IDENTIFICATION CARD TO AVOID PENALTIES
 
The Professional Regulation Commission encourages professionals to renew their PRC Identification Card to avoid applicable penalties to be incurred for late renewal especially those professionals with ID card expiration of 2018 and below.  ADVANCE renewal of ID card is accepted exactly one (1) year from the date of birth of the professional.

All professionals are likewise informed that in the absence of the required Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units, they can still renew their ID card provided that they will sign the UNDERTAKING portion of the renewal form pursuant to Commission Resolution No. 2017-10 stating the Guidelines and Procedures in the Implementation of Republic Act (R.A.) No. 10912 or  the CPD Act of 2016.

SUCCESSFUL CONDUCT OF THE AUGUST 2014 TEACHERS EXAMINATION

The Board for Professional Teachers and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Baguio Regional Office successfully conducted the recent Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT) in Baguio, Laoag and Rosales, Pangasinan on August 17.

A total of thirteen thousand nine hundred ninety-one (13,991) examinees took the BLEPT in three (3) areas supervised by the Baguio Regional Office. Administered to eight thousand seven hundred seventy (8,770) in Baguio, one thousand two hundred fifty (1,250) in Laoag, and three thousand nine hundred seventy-one (3,971) in Rosales, the BLEPT is the biggest licensure examination coordinated by the Baguio Regional Office.

The conduct of BLEPT is supported by Laoag City Government through Mayor Chevylle V. FariƱas for Laoag BLEPT; Abono Party List Representative Conrado M. Estrella III and Mayor Susan Pagador Casareno for Rosales, Pangasinan BLEPT; the Philippine National Police, National Bureau of Investigation, Department of Education, and various colleges/universities.

PRC Regional Director Teofilo Gaius M. Sison, Jr. said the exam results will be released by end of October 2014. Examinees can verify their grades/ratings at www.prc.gov.ph by clicking Online Verification of Ratings (OVR), using their Application Number.
