The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Baguio Regional Office successfully conducted the recent Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) in the cities of Baguio, Dagupan, Cabanatuan and Laoag on December 7 and 8, 2013. There were two thousand eight hundred seventy-four (2,874) examinees in Baguio, one thousand one hundred ninety-seven (1,197) examinees in Dagupan, nine hundred forty-three (943) examinees in Cabanatuan, and eight hundred four (804) in Laoag. A total of five thousand eight hundred eighteen (5,818) took the NLE in 4 areas supervised by the Baguio Regional Office.
The conduct of NLE is supported by the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija through Governor Aurelio M. Umali and the Cabanatuan City Government through Mayor Julius Cesar V. Vergara; the Dagupan City Government through Mayor Belen T. Fernandez; the Laoag City Government through Mayor Chevylle V. Fariñas, the Philippine Nurses Association Regional Councils of Region I, CAR, and III and their provincial/city chapters, Philippine National Police, National Bureau of Investigation, Department of Education, and the various universities and colleges.
PRC Regional Director Teofilo Gaius M. Sison, Jr. commended the Provincial and City Governments, PNA, Philippine National Police, National Bureau of Investigation, DepEd, media outfits, various colleges and universities, PRC Central Office and Area Delegations for the efficient and honest conduct of the examination.
The exam results will be released after 42 working days. Examinees can verify their grades/ratings at www.prc.gov.ph by clicking Online Verification of Ratings (OVR).
