The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)
and the Board for Professional Teachers have released the results of the September
30, 2012 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
Nationwide, 25,136 elementary teachers out of
50,997 examinees (49.29%) and 20,834 secondary teachers out of 47,892 examinees
(43.50%) passed the LET. Pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223 dated July 19,
2004, results of examinations are final and request for reconsideration of
failing grades is not allowed.
The Baguio Regional Office supervised the LET
in Baguio City, Laoag City and Rosales, Pangasinan. In Baguio, 3,414 out of
6,301 (54%) examinees successfully hurdled the test. In Laoag City, 645 of
1,023 (63%) passed while in Rosales, Pangasinan, 680 of 1,545 (44%) examinees
passed. Baguio LET examinees garnering the top ten are:

Successful examinees should personally
register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. Requirements for
the initial registration are: Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng
Propesyonal; 2012 Community Tax Certificate (Cedula); Two (2) pieces passport
size pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag); One (1)
piece 1”x1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag); Photocopy
of NSO Birth Certificate; One (1) documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and Initial
Registration Fee of P600.00 and Annual Registration Fee of P450.00 for 2012-2015.
