ONLINE RENEWAL OF PROFESSIONAL ID CARD AT PRC BAGUIO

The Professional Regulation Commission Baguio Regional Office today held the successful pilot-testing of its online renewal of professional ID cards. During the pilot test, 103 walk-in applicants renewing their professional identification cards availed themselves of the system and were able to claim their professional IDs on the same day. The new renewal system is one of the components of the Online Registration System which is pursuant to the Commission’s thrust of streamlining its systems and procedures.

The pilot-testing of the Online Renewal at the Baguio Regional Office was led by Commissioner Jennifer Jardin-Manalili, Commissioner-in-Charge of Systems and Procedures. During the initial implementation of the online renewal system, the professional IDs renewed in the region can be claimed after ten (10) working days from the time of application, Commissioner Manalili said. 

The new system will soon be adopted in all PRC regional offices in order to further decentralize the delivery of services.
