APPLICATION FOR SEPTEMBER 25, 2011 TEACHERS EXAMINATION
The Professional Regulation Commission Baguio Regional Office is now accepting applications for the September 25, 2011 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) until the deadline on July 15, 2011.
For First-time applicants, requirements are:
1. Original and photocopy of Transcript of Records with scanned picture and remarks, “For Board Examination Purposes”;
2. Original and photocopy of Birth Certificate issued by the NSO in security paper. Submit a copy of Birth Certificate from Local Civil Registrar if NSO copy is illegible;
3. Original and photocopy of Marriage Certificate issued by the NSO in security paper. Submit a copy from Local Civil Registrar if NSO copy is illegible (for married female applicants);
4. Four (4) pieces recent passport-size colored pictures in plain white background with complete nametag;
5. One (1) piece recent 1x1 colored picture in plain white background with complete nametag;
6. 2011 Community Tax Certificate (Cedula);
7. One (1) piece window envelope with postage stamps worth Php9.00; and
8. Examination fee of P900.
For Repeaters, requirements are any of the following:
1. Report of Ratings;
2. Notice of Admission; or
3. Official Receipt of the previous LET.
Applicants MUST APPLY PERSONALLY. Examinees are encouraged to apply early to avoid overcrowding. NO extension of deadline.

APRIL 2011 TEACHERS EXAMINATION RESULTS
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers have released the results of the April 2011 Licensure Examination for Teachers.
Nationwide, 12,946 out of 62,629 examinees or 20.67% passed the examination. Out of 5,364 examinees in Baguio City, 1,303 or 24.29% successfully hurdled the test. Baguio examinees garnering the top ten are:

The oath-taking ceremonies of the successful examinees will be on June 24, 2011, 9:00 A.M. at the University of Baguio Gym, Assumption Road, Baguio City.
Initial registration will start on May 23, 2011. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. Requirements for the initial registration are:
o Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal;
o 2011 Community Tax Certificate (Cedula);
o Photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate;
o Two (2) pieces passport-size pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag);
o One (1) piece 1”x1” picture (colored with white background and complete name tag);
o One (1) documentary stamp for the Oath Form; and
o Initial Registration Fee of P600.00 and Annual Registration Fee of P450.00 for 2011-2014.
The Professional Identification Card (PIC) and Certificate of Registration are issued by PRC Central Office 3-4 months after registration.
ANNOUNCEMENT: TO ALL LET APPLICANTS
Baguio Regional Office shall start accepting application for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) on May 16, 2011 to give way for the processing of applications for the July 2011 Nurse Licensure Examination which shall end on May 13, 2011.
