DECEMBER 2010 NURSES EXAM RESULTS
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Nursing have announced the results of the December 2010 Nurses Licensure Examination administered in eighteen (18) testing centers nationwide. Out of 84,287 examinees, 29,711 or 35.25% passed.
In Baguio City, 1,423 out of 4,472 or 31.82% examinees successfully hurdled the test. In La Union, 267 out of 1,140 or 23.42% examinees passed while in Pangasinan, 773 out of 3,521 or 21.95% examinees passed. In Vigan, 468 out of 1,595 or 29.34% examinees passed while in Cabanatuan, 354 out of 1,566 or 22.61% examinees passed.
Pursuant to PRC Resolution No. 2004-223 dated July 19, 2004, results of the examination are final and viewing of test papers or filing of request for reconsideration of failing grades after the release of the results of the examination is not allowed.
Initial registration for new passers starts on February 25, 2011, Friday, at the PRC Baguio Regional Office. Only successful Baguio examinees shall register at the Regional Office pursuant to Commission Office Order No. 2009-90 dated February 19, 2009. The Order provides for a “Register Where You Took the Exam” policy. To decongest the Regional Office and save on travel expenses, the Regional Office will accept initial registration outside of Baguio. New nurses are advised to take their oath where they register. In coordination with Philippine Nurses Association (PNA) local chapters, the schedule of registration and oathtaking are as follows:

Successful examinees should personally register in order to sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals with the following requirements:
o Duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal;
o 2011 Community Tax Certificate (Cedula);
o Two (2) pieces passport-size pictures (colored with white background and name tag);
o One (1) piece 1”x1” picture (colored with white background and name tag);
o One (1) piece documentary stamp;
o Original and photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate (original copy for presentation purposes only); and
o Initial Registration Fee of P600.00 and Annual Registration Fee of P450.00 for 2011-2014.
The Professional Identification Card and Certificate of Registration will be issued by PRC Central Office within 3-4 months after transmittal by the Regional Office.
