The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Baguio Regional Office successfully conducted the recent Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE) in the cities of Baguio, San Fernando, Dagupan, Cabanatuan and Vigan on December 19 and 20, 2010. Administered to 12,524 examinees in 14 testing centers, the NLE was the biggest licensure examination ever coordinated by the Regional Office. It was also the first time that the NLE was held in Cabanatuan and Vigan cities for the benefit of examinees from the Nueva Ecija and Ilocos Region.
The conduct of La Union, Pangasinan, Ilocos Region and Nueva Ecija NLE are joint efforts of PRC, its stakeholders and the Philippine Nurses Association Regions I and III.
Director-in-Charge Evangeline Marilyn V.C. Vergara also thanked the officials of the PNA, Department of Health and the Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center, PNP, NBI, DepEd, media outfits, various colleges and universities, Local Government Units, PRC Central Office Delegations and all the examination staff for the efficient and honest conduct of the examination.
